A bale of pine straw covers about 35 to 45 square feet depending on the depth.

Leaving the old straw down provides a good base and helps contribute to mulching the soil.

We recommend cutting the weeds down and spraying with the chemical of your choice. This should yield good results.
What type of pine straw do you offer?
Long Needle Pine Straw - Its color is more vibrant, you'll get more coverage per sqft, and it lasts longer than slash due to the needles not decomposing as quickly.
