Building Community: Roda Bros Pine Straw Chooses Mountain High for Premium Long Needle Pine Straw

At Mountain High Landscape Supply, we believe a strong landscaping industry is built on strong relationships. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce a new partnership with Roda Bros Pine Straw!

It was a pleasure hosting their team at one of our locations as they picked up a large order of our premium long needle pine straw. This partnership is a fantastic opportunity for both of our companies to continue delivering the absolute best materials and service to homeowners and contractors throughout Metro-Atlanta and surrounding areas.

Why Quality Matters to Landscaping Pros

When professional landscapers and service providers like Roda Bros Pine Straw choose their supplier, they are choosing quality and reliability for their own clients. Here’s why industry experts trust the long needle pine straw available at our Atlanta landscape supply yards (in Marietta and Atlanta):

• Superior Coverage and Aesthetics: Our premium long needle pine straw features longer, more durable needles. These needles interlock when spread, creating a denser, more uniform, and highly aesthetic ground cover that gives any landscape bed a professional, finished look.
• Effective Weed Control: A dense layer of pine straw naturally suppresses weed growth, reducing maintenance time and the need for chemicals.
• Erosion Control: The interlocking nature of the long needles makes it ideal for use on slopes and hills, holding the material in place better than most mulches and helping to prevent soil erosion—a common concern in many Atlanta area yards.
• Soil Health Benefits: As the pine straw slowly breaks down, it gently adds organic matter and a slight acidity to the soil. This is perfect for acid-loving plants common in the Southeast, such as azaleas and camellias.
